Hi Bernard,
I have tried the smoke pellets too, even went as far as making a custom holder for the pellets to make them more practical for use in a skirmish. This would allow them to be carried in a grenade pouch and lit/thrown in a game. They worked, however the amount of smoke given off by them is minimal when outside outdoors in comparison to proper pyrotechnic smoke grenades (which I have used at games in the UK and NI) and they are not safe for use indoors.

hi have u tryed smoke pellets for your smoke test as they burn longer and give of more smoke then MATCHES, 2 or 3 of the pellets would give of a lot of smoke, 1 con they take longer to ligh, can be both at any heatmerchants in ireland, would love to see a test done with these, i have tested these my self just to see what they did,i only lit 1 though, as i work for heatmerchants, used for testing flues for boilers and fires the same as matches
